How to install Patriot PC Protection

1.  Check your Download folder, or search your computer for the Patriot PC Protection setup file (patriotpcprotection.exe).

     For help finding your downloads, scroll down.

2.  Open the setup file by double clicking on it. Next, Windows will ask if it's okay to make changes to your device. Click

     "Yes," then select your language.

3.  When the Setup Wizard opens, click "Agree and Continue" to start installing Malwarebytes, or click "Advanced Options" to

     choose a different install location.

4.  When installation is complete, click "Finish" to close the Setup Wizard.

5.  Done! Patriot PC Protection should launch automatically.

How to find your downloads

Google Chrome

  1. Open your Google Chrome browser.

  2. Click "". It's in the top-right corner of the browser.

    • ​A shortcut to open the Downloads page is Ctrl+J (PC) or ⇧ Shift+⌘ Command+J (Mac).

  3. Click "Downloads". This option is near the top-middle of the drop-down menu.

  4. Review your downloads.

Firefox

​You can access downloads from your current browsing session by clicking on the Downloads button (the down arrow on your toolbar). The arrow will appear blue  to let you know there are un-viewed downloaded files.

To see your downloads history:

  1. Click the "Library" button on your toolbar.

  2. Click "Downloads" in the drop-down menu.

  3. Click "Show All Downloads" at the bottom of the Downloads panel. The Library window will open showing a list of your downloaded files.

Safari

  1. In the Safari app on your Mac, click the "Show Downloads" button near the top-right corner of the Safari window. (Looks like an arrow pointing down in a circle)

  2. Do any of the following:

    • Pause a download: Click the Stop button  to the right of the filename in the downloads list. To resume, click the Resume button .

    • Find a downloaded item on your Mac: Click the magnifying glass  next to the filename in the downloads list. If you move a file or change the download location after downloading it, Safari can’t find the file.

    • Tip: To change where downloaded items are saved on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, click General, then click the “File download location” pop-up menu and choose a location.

    • Clear the downloads list: In the downloads list, click Clear. To remove one item, Control-click it, then choose Remove From List.

    • By default, Safari automatically removes an item after one day. To change when items are automatically removed, choose Safari > Preferences, click General, then click the “Remove download list items” pop-up menu and choose an option.
